Wayne Frank

Wayne Raymond Frank, age 55, of Ansonia, formerly of Seymour and Waterbury, entered into rest peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at Griffin Hospital, Derby. He was born in Derby on April 12, 1955, son of Jack E. Frank of Parker, CO and Muriel Person Frank of Naugatuck. Wayne attended the Seymour Congregational Church. He was an Avionics Inspector at Sikorsky Aircraft of Stratford and was a valued and loved member of the staff of the Miller-Ward Funeral Home of Seymour. Wayne was a graduate of Seymour High School. He enjoyed metal detecting, playing in the Sikorsky pool tournaments and taking trips to the casino with family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of the Griffin Hospital, Dr. Jeffrey Orell, Dr. William Neil Pearson and nurse Nichole Olenechuk for the love and care they provided for Wayne. Wayne's family includes his loving father Jack E. Frank and his wife Judee of Parker, CO, his caring mother Muriel Person Frank of Naugatuck, his devoted sisters Jill Wirtemburg and her husband John of Naugatuck and Virginia Weisenbacher and her husband Louis of Myrtle Beach, SC, his caring sister-in-law Diane Frank of St. Petersburg, FL, his cherished nephews Louis Weisenbacher, IV and his wife Caryn, Matthew Frank, Joshua Wood, Noah Wood and Ryan Wirtemburg, his cherished niece Ashley Frank, his cherished great nephew Alex Weisenbacher, and his caring step sister Yvette Nejo. Wayne was predeceased by his brother Glenn Frank. A Memorial Service in Celebration of Wayne's life will be held on Sunday, December 5, 2010 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of the Miller-Ward Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 260 Bank St (RT. 67, across from Klarides Village) Seymour with the Rev. Greg Dawson, Pastor of the Seymour Congregational Church, officiating. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm.
