Wayne Prilipp

Wayne Richard Prilipp, age 55, of Seymour, entered into rest on Sunday, February 15, 2015. He was born in Derby on May 11, 1959, beloved son of Dorothy Cashin Prilipp and the late Albert H. Prilipp. Wayne attended the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Oxford and was a graduate of Seymour High School. He was employed by Auto Parts International of Waterbury. Wayne was an avid fisherman who enjoyed boating, fast cars and making people laugh. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Wayne's loving family in addition to his beloved mother Dorothy includes his caring sister Karen Quoka and her husband John of Oxford and his cherished niece Pamla Pettinella and her husband Robert of Oxford. He was predeceased by his beloved sister Dorrine Lee Prilipp. A Memorial Service in Celebration of Wayne's life will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at 6:00 pm in the chapel of the Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank Street (RT. 67, across from Klarides Village), Seymour with the Rev. Bruce Steinway, Pastor of the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Oxford, officiating. Friends and family may call at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial gifts in Wayne's memory may be made the Valley Emergency Medical Service (VEMS) through the funeral home.
