William Earl Weymer Sr.

William Earl Weymer, Sr., age 88, of Seymour, entered into rest on Friday, November 7, 2014 at Waterbury Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Seymour on November 20, 1925, son of the late Prentice and Bessie Blackman Weymer. Bill was a retired Technician with the Kerite Company of Seymour and had also worked at the former Garden Gate Restaurant of Seymour. He was a lifelong Seymour resident, was a member of the Rev. Albert Callahan Tenants Association and was a member of the Concordia Singing Society. Bill will be sadly missed by his family and many friends. His loving family includes his two caring sons William E. Weymer, Jr. and his wife Kathleen of Naugatuck and Alan J. Weymer and his wife Dianna of Seymour, his four cherished grandchildren Jennifer Weymer of Naugatuck, Heather Weymer of Bridgeport, Alyssa Weymer of Seymour and Anthony Pozucek of Naugatuck and several loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his two loving brothers Walter and Ernest Weymer. Friends and relatives may call at the Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank St. (RT. 67, across from Klarides Village), Seymour on Sunday, November 9, 2014 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. The Funeral Service and Interment will be private.
